FooDelivers | Food Delivery App UI UX Design

Uptechies develops digital goods that improve people’s lives through clever and user-friendly design. One of our most fascinating projects is FooDelivers, a comprehensive food delivery system created with Figma.

This project consists of a mobile app for customers and riders, an admin dashboard for restaurants and super administrators, and a front-facing website for marketing and consumer engagement. The goal was to establish an all-in-one food delivery service comparable to Zomato or Uber Eats, but with a more distinctive and personalized appearance.

Project Background

The FooDelivers project started with a simple idea to make food ordering smooth, fast, and enjoyable for everyone involved. The client wanted a complete digital solution that connects customers, restaurants, and riders through one integrated platform.

Our mission was to design an experience where users can explore restaurants, place orders, and track deliveries in real time, while restaurant owners can manage their menus, orders, and earnings through an easy-to-use dashboard.

We aimed for a clean, modern, and highly functional interface that delivers both style and simplicity.

Our Design Process

  1. Research and Planning
Before designing, we studied the food delivery industry, focusing on the user journeys of customers, delivery riders, and restaurant admins. We identified what users value most speed, clarity, and easy navigation.
  2. Wireframes and Structure
We started with wireframes to map out how each user type would interact with the system. The app flow was designed to reduce clicks and make order placement quick and intuitive.
  3. Visual Design and Prototyping
Using Figma and Auto Layout, we created a consistent design system with bright food colors, clean typography, and simple icons. The app interface was made visually appealing yet efficient. Prototypes were built to demonstrate how the mobile app, dashboard, and website would function together seamlessly.
  4. Testing and Refinement
After creating the prototype, we tested it with users to get feedback on ease of use and clarity. Based on insights, we refined button placements, order flows, and navigation to ensure the design feels natural and efficient.
